Danish Brotherhood in America (DBIA) Lodge #167 ... Danish Sisterhood (DSS), Mt. Hood Lodge #81
(1) Monthly meetings-- a social event or dinner or guest speaker is usually featured.
(2) Monthly newsletter (print or digital)-- the Portland Dane -- keeps you informed on local Danish activities with our Lodges and other organizations.
(3) Fund-raising events-- opportunites exist to help raise money for Danish programs.
(4) Camp-grants (for Himmelbjerget- Danish Language Camp for youth) and Scholarships.
(5) Danish Christmas Party.
(6) Invitations to celebrate Danish customs, cooking, and traditions.
The cost of membership depends on which Lodge you join. Both Lodges meet at the same date/time.
The Brotherhood and Sisterhood are "family" lodges, so men, women, and children can join.

Danish Christmas Church service (Lillejuleaften) at Bethany Lutheran Church.
ScanFair at PSU (first weekend in December)-- our largest event to the general public.
Pacific Northwest Danish Cultural Conference (late June).
Invitations to Northwest Danish Foundation offerings:
Danish Film Night, Literature, and Language.
Himmelbjerget-- Danish Language Camp for young people. (late June)
Danish book / video / CD / DVD Library.
